I read somewhere ages ago that if your horse can roll right over it doesn't have a back/pelvic problem. Is this true ?
Just taken on loan companion horse that injured his back/pelvis some years ago. Was in a riding school and then started bucking people off so eventually was thought it was behavioural issues or sourness! Anyway a nice lady took him on to see if he would improve away from the riding school, but he was the same. Apparently didn't see a vet at the RS ! Chiro said pelvis was unlevel and he has been rested and unridden for some months. he will not be ridden again, but I have noticed he rests his hind legs and also flexes one out behind him sometimes. Is this likely to be a result of the injury. And he can roll right over !
I seem to attract horses with leg problems !
