Can anyone recommend a good back person in Kent, I am near Maidstone.
My horse was being ridden and everything was fine and then he got kicked in the field and was off work for 6 weeks, the kick wasnt that bad and he wasnt lame on that leg (the front right), but it just took ages to heal. Once he was better and we tried to ride him again he was literally sitting down and falling to the left when we got on him and walked forward.
Ive had a back person out twice to see him recently who said his back was sore but improving and she said he was ready to be ridden again. So we got on him bareback this time, just to see how he reacted to the weight on his back and he still walked off crooked on the left side and his back left leg could not move properly.
Its so weird, but i am now very worried about him. He is sound on the lunge and when trotted up and moves freely in the field ??????????
Thank you
