A couple of months a go my horse was lame for a few days with no heat or swelling to be found. Vet diagnosed a pulled muscle which would heal in time.

My horse is now sounds but is much tighter in his frame (even without being ridden) than he was. I've been having a sports massage lady to see him (who has been recommended) and although he has improved he certainly is not as relaxed and supple as he was and has quite bad poll tilt.

So i'm thinking about getting someone else to look at him but don't know who to get - an osteopath? Chiropractor? physio?

If anyone can recommend anyone i'm in Sussex. I'd appreciate anyones thoughts!

Thanks

Whereabouts in Sussex are you? I know a fab Physio.

I use a physio who is fab- Liz Hadland- really recommend her- she has sorted my horses out in the past with various issues- Also her sister, Jenny Hadland is also a Physio and has a practice based in Hants- she also travels out so Sussex-

I must admit that Vets sometimes aren't always the best when it comes to Muscle probs!- Good Luck though!

i too would consider a mctimoney practitioner. but im not in your area so couldnt help with names, but might be worth considering, instead of a physio.
