Back/Physio/chiro Essex

Hi everyone. I am looking for a really good physio/chiro who would come to essex. Ideally I would like to continue with the guy I have been seeing, I think his name is James Newton, he is aussie/new zealand? I believe. My horse was seen while in rehab after surgery for suspensory desmitis and I think he has done wonders. I dont have a contact number for him and not sure the owner of the yard will let me attend his clinic at her yard as she gives priority to her own liveries. I was hoping to find another clinic that he does. If anyone knows him or has contact for him I would be really greatful. Failing that any good alternatives greatfully received also. Many thanks.

If you're in north Essex I would recommend Nicky StLawrence too!! She's absolutely amazing and based in Newmarket.

She travels all over East Anglia and treats Ruth McMullen's horses (who takes no nonsense from anyone!) and Wendy King as well as lots of the Newmarket Yards and hundred's of hobby riders like mine. She's a lovely person too!

I can recommend Jackie Grant and she lives in and covers Essex - she is on the short list for horsey physios for visiting teams for the 2012 Olympics so she def knows her stuff!!

Sarah Dalton is a veterinary physio. She is very good, really nice attitude too, great with the horses and takes her time.

Thank you so much for the replies. It helps to have someone who has experience as it is a minefield out there. I will have a look at the website and see if I can find contact numbers for the other suggestions too to see if I can arrange a visit/clinic appt.

Brilliant, thanks sln, I so want him to continue to treat my horse. The only problem I have now is getting my horse back to the yard!! I pray I can get him loaded, in order to travel. Unfortunately he has developed loading problems since having surgery and 5 months box rest! Fingers crossed all will work out ok for him.
