Does anybody know of a good equine back specialist in the North West?
My TB is just plain unhappy. The usual symptoms of kissing spines are there – i.e not liking being saddled, dislike of being rugged up, etc BUT he is an ex racer so perhaps its more psychological and just plain grumpy!
He will literally be fine one day (to get on and ride) but the next, you put your foot in the iron, get ready to move and he’s off broncho’ing …
Teeth have been done. Just need a back specialist in the NW area? Anybody know of one? x

Mark Windsor - McTimoney Chiropracter, no bull sort of guy, good advise given, does a clinic every friday at Ashbrook Equine Hospital (near Knutsford). Thats the easiest way to get him as its quite hard to get him to visit yards for only one horse (Im lucky that he is friends with my YO and he came out to us last week)

Totally recommended by everyone i know (horsey related)

Hi I agree with alsiola the first point of call is your vet, as the only way you will find out a correct diagnosis of ks is by getting your horses back X-rayed, your vet will be able to advise if there is another underlining problem. My mare had the ks op in feb this year, and am about to get back on next Tuesday.

Hope this helps
