OH and I have lost the lovely little yard we have privately rented for the last three years. Next Saturday we are moving two of our four back onto a smashing but fairly large livery yard. (The other two - one is on loan and the 2yo is going to a friend for a couple of months holiday whilst we settle in but both will eventually join us again) When we found out we were losing the place, we were gutted as we have made loads of improvements over the years (our choice and I don't want to make out the YO to be an ogre, this is not the case at all) but now we are quite looking forward to not having to worry about the land management and the luxury of just being able to turn up, groom and ride.
We have already been added to the new yard's private FB page and been given a warm welcome by lots of the liveries, so I think this bodes well but I know this will be a bit of a slap-in-the-face culture shock and adjustment to be back amongst loads of people. I just wondered how many of you have done or had to do this when it wasn't your decision to have to move and how you felt and coped?
Thanks
