Back to work tomorrow !

[Horseback Rider]

have been in bed for the last 2 days with flu ! Obviously I still had to go and sort out horse last night and tonight ...... this is something my OH just doesn't understand !

When I didn't have a horse for a few months he complained that I was at home getting under his feet all the time then when I spend time at the yard he moans. I have tried explaining what is involved but he doesn't listen or want to understand.


We aren't married and I dont have any kids so don't see what the problem is ?? it's my time and money and I want to spend it this way he does loads of other stuff !!

Need a way to give him a taste of his own medicine

Poor you, hope you get better soon.

If I finish my horse early and go home, but OH complains and if I am late, he complains! But he looks after my horse when I am out of action, so I cant complain.

I'm quite lucky my OH always tells me he'll be home early (about 6) but he's always later than 7!
He was a bit stroppy when I first got my horse thinking thats all I was doing, but when I broke my arm 2nd August and I needed him to drive me there and poo pick he actually started to quite enjoy going to the yard. He's always asking me how the horse is now that I'm better and he's not going.
I'm not saying break your arm or anything, but ask him to come along, and let him see for himself what it entails.....
