Backing/Schooling shropshire/staffordshire area?

Just wondering if anyone can recommend someone in the shropshire/surrounding area for backing/schooling young horses?

I'm planning on working with my boy through winter and get him to the point of long-reining/lunging etc, probably sit on him and walk around, but would then be looking to send him away to be ridden away properly.

also if you know what prices they charge per week i'd appreciate it!

I would recommend Jonathon Parrott, he's brilliant.

Hes based in Overton, near wrexham.

Looked after one of mine very well. Did a great job.

Think he charges £150/week

Forgot to add Dave Stuart is about £1000 for 4 weeks including grass livery and a 2 day clinic with him at the end of the 4 weeks. Can't recommend him highly enough!

I would recommend Artur Nicpon at Beaverhall in Bradnop, Staffordshire. He used to scholl my girl and I know a number of horses he's backed in a very calm and sympathic way. Think it's about £175.00 which includes full livery and 5 sessions a week with Artur. You can check details out at following link:

I sent my horse to dean price in Shrewsbury not sure on his prices now though but I paid £140p/w a couple of years ago. I highly recommend him.

Stephen Gee also very close to Beaver Hall, Staffs was really great with two of my friend's horses. £120 a week I think.
