I have a saddle that I "think" both I and my horse are happy with, and my fitter is happy with it, which is great. I feel relatively secure in it ... however I am not the best rider or the most balanced and when I ask for trot I sometimes find myself sometimes not in sync with him - sometimes leading to a bit of a double bounce....I am tempted to put a memory foam backsaver under his saddle to protect his back but will this affect the whole balance of the set up and make things worse or less stable.
