Has anyone had a horse or know of any who has has this?
I have done a lot of research and it seems it a pain to get rid of and can last 6 months or more.
My horse has just been diagnosed with it after 3 weeks of antibiotics (norodine) which as soon as they stopped it flared back up so had skin biopsy and scrape which confirmed the suspect thoughts, he is now on baytril for another 3 weeks which could possibly go to 2 months! The vet has said not to do washes as it can actually spread the bacteria.
If anyone has any experience or helpful information all will be gratefully received.
