Grace is supposed to be walking in the school for 30 mins (with me on board) until the physio comes on Friday. For those of you that don't know, she has been lame since last Thursday and the vet believed it to be a bruised sole. Since then, the lameness has virtually disappeared, just a slight unlevel action in trot which we think is being caused by her back. The vet has told me to turn her out and ride her until Friday...

I walked her down to the school in hand, and as soon as she stepped into the school she grew another few hands (she is 17hh already

). I jumped on and started walking her around on a long rein.

The pony who was in there with us left, and as soon as he went out of sight she set off in canter and would not stop. Rather than listening to me and coming back down to trot she came into this unbelievable collected trot and started doing flying changes (but would just not stop!) - she had been out in the field all day too

Eventually I got her to trot, but as I asked for walk she started doing her new trick of medium trot which I have to admit was absolutely unbelievable to sit to and incredibly elevated! Had I not been so angry with her, I would have felt elated that she finds it so easy! All I could see were her white boots coming right up in front of her!!!

However, she is a bad pony. I think we did all of 5 steps of walk after all this... she has showed me she finds passage and piaffe a doddle (although you watch, when I start to ask for it as we work up the levels she will not do it!) and by the time we had finished I was absolutely shattered!

I think I am going to pass on riding her tomorrow for half an hour at walk... I'll tell the vets we did it, but just turn her out all day!

oh dear... my boy has got a bruised sole atm.

He wouldn't let the farrier put his back shoe back on (took them of so all the ickyness comes out). He has never been naughty to shoe before, so assuming he thinks/or it is hurting him.

He has been of for nearly 2 weeks now, hopeing he won't be as 'playful' as yours

lol. He is pretty laid back so should be fine

She decided to pole dance last night in front of her mirror... she had pulled her pole down that has rugs over it at some point
