bad coverage for grand national continues

last night i was watching jimmy carrs doing a spoof of the 10 o clock news and he spent a long while 'joking' about the grand national and how cruel it is. why this year does the grand national get such bad coverage when its no worse than any other. there useally are fatalities in this race but there are in any race just becasue its one of the biggest doesnt mean the horses that die are killed more cruelly than those that die in other smaller races if anything its probably better at the grand national as there are more highly trained vets ect.
 
Gembo, I have to ask - why so many threads, and ones that have already been done, the Durbarrys one even by your good self ?? Sorry if I sound rude but.....I'm just plain nosey ?

no, just curious as to why the same thread twice, when the first one got 35 replies.... maybe I should head to bed and read something to stop my brain whirring ;)
