BAD Horse Transport

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone could help me - for one of my essays at uni it's on welfare issues.

I have chosen to do this on Horse transportation.

I have seen DVDs at Uni of bad welfare conditions across the EU travelling 1000+ KM and journeys lasting up to 90hours!

I was hoping some of you know so megood websites, journals ,charities etc that would have some info on this - its harder than i thought!

Might be worth looking at World Horse Welfare's website, or even contacting them as they have a lot of interest in live horse export and transport in Europe.

DEFRA website worth a look for how things should be done.
