Just had a call from my cousin. She'd been notified that her 2 year old gorgeous gelding was bleeding from his nose and mouth. She called a vet, the bleeding stopped, the vet wants him straight to the surgery as if the bleeding starts again he will bleed to death. I don't know any more about it apart from it's apparently very rare and it's something in his throat.
He's on his way to vets as i type, where they hope to medicate him. However if it does start again, surgery is unavoidable and they just wouldn't be able to afford it.
I pray that it doesn't come to this.
He's the sweetest boy..Won some in-hand showing classes and he's been out in the field for the past few months chilling out with his friends
..he's lined up to be backed next year ready for my little cousin. I have everything crossed right now.
