Well last year I was run over by a horse in the field my horse was kept in and damaged my pelvis. Had 7 months off riding and 18 months off riding due to my pelvis and then having a sick horse. During this time I damaged my pelvis again this year when I was knocked over by horse once he came off long term box rest.
My pelvis has flare ups every so often and I have to keep going for physio to try and help.
My horse also has a dodgy pelvis (what a pair
) due to a old injury. Since I have been back riding my horses hips and hind legs have been giving him alot of grief. Vet and physio have said to do walking work ridden for a month to see if we can help strengthen his hind muscles. But what I was wondering was that could there be any chance the pain in my pelvis could be causing some of my horses problem. If Im sore then I may be compensating with my position etc. If so could I make my horses injury worse?
