Sigh is anyone else's horse going a bit wild lately?!

I took Charisma out for a short(ish) ride this evening after she had a day off after an event on Saturday.

Well she pulled, yanked, spooked, span all the way around the block! I ended up getting so mad at her (which by the way I know not the best idea with a spooky horse!!) and felt really bad afterwards for shouting at her and generally being a bad rider :( Poor C probably wondered what the thought was this woman posessed doing her on her back :p

At least I can take comfort in the fact that she isn't really going to remember and her last memory of me is giving her a bucket of feed :p

Please tell me I'm not the only one feeling this way?!

I suppose tomorrow's another day

I was riding and said horse stopped dead in his tracks and refused to go forwards, I was patient for a while, then nothing on this earth would move his front legs, I shouted OH for *censored *sake, will you *censored*move, you stubborn *censored* horse! With that a man popped out from behind the hedge with handheld shears and said ohh sorry I think I may be the reason your horse won't go past!

I have never been so embarrassed in all my life and I rarely swear too!!!!

So YES to you lol xx

Since my accident my thoughts on life have changed. O er get me eh ;) Just enjoy it and try not to stress about it. We all have bad days :)

Love it! it's nearly as bad as the time I collided with a jogger as both he, myself and icy were looking at a weasel in the field!

HEHE... that reminds me!!

You know when you sometimes step aside for someone and they step the same way and so forth and ends up in a little jig ?... Well by dog did that with another dog at a pedestrian crossing once, made me laugh for weeks!! xx

Oh believe me a few years ago I would write on here and stress about every awful ride I would ever have, just really needed to vent today! I know she's fine and she doesn't hate me :p I don't like shouting at her but we obviously had a lovers tiff tonight, happens to everybody

I'm not riding for a couple of days now anyway so we have time to calm down :p

What accident?

Haha why do people do that? On my ride today a guy with a dog was up ahead I saw him go behind the bush and wait for us, I couldn't say anything as we were quite far back then we got closer and I coudl feel Charisma looking and then jumped 10 feet in the air :)

Public sevice anouncement: if you are walking please don't hide in the bushes, horses would rather you made yourselves seen as much as you can! :D :D

Just remembered the time we got caught out by the sun going down hacking home allong a disused railway line - we were doing a fairly brisk trot and luckily wearing flourescent tabards when a woman fell out of a bush almost sobbing. All she could see were two refective strips bobbing 7 feet up in the air coming towards her - I think she thought we were ghosts or aliens, but I remember being unable to console her as I had my coat sleeve in my mouth!
