i dont want to say it but 'this week, cant get any worse can it?'...... (i now take this back because it will!)

1. buyer pulled out of house we are selling....after wanting house for past 4 months!!!!
2. house that our offer was accepted on, the vendor has pulled out due to our buyer pulling out
(our buyer only pulled out due to the length of the negotiating time over the house we wanted... 10 weeks!!!, but pulled out on the day our offer was accepted)

3. my beautiful mare has done her tendon for the 2nd time...... she will never be properly ridden again and ive wasted 18 months in rehab with her for appsoultly nothing (we didnt even get out of rehab before doing it again) :(.... dreams of riding psg are gone and vet cant even say that she will be strong enough to hack!

i really cant decide what to do with her! she 17.2+, 9 years old, by Catherston Springsteen (good breeding!) and has a fantastic tempermant

which option would any of you go for?
1. field pet (big and expensive field pet and only happen if we ever get our own land, which isnt happening right now)
2. breed from her, for me to have a home produced foal
3. pts......i dont like it, but what use does she have?

all i can offer is ice cream and chocolate (2nd's if you wish)...........

That's a s@@t week, I'd go for breeding but I collect broken ponies!!!! I have one that's been retired for 5 years, haven't bred from her cos she's not got good conformation and is a bit high maintenance. So she is a glorified lawn mover but I adore her, the other is off work and I'm attempting to start again after my 2 week holiday. Sorry I'm of no help xx

Bad things always come along in bulk I find!!!!:rolleyes:I would def look into breeding from your mare. She sounds lovely:) would you loan/sell her as a broodie? I have a field ornament unfortunately it's a gelding so completely useless:) if you can afford the breeding route I would do that

What a horrible week :(

Is bloodbank an option?

as much as it is a sensible option, and she doesnt mind needles....... i couldnt mentally or physically put myself through putting her somewhere like that..... i know that seems very silly to some people :(
