I am right in thinking that the Grassroots is on the Tuesday and Wednesday and that the main competition dressage will start on Thursday?

So unlike in the past you can't turn up and watch some dressage and also some cross country action over the smaller course?

It’s not on Tuesday? Wednesday is Grassroots, Thursday/Fri dressage. I’m pretty sure it’s always been that format, apart from the odd years they buggered around with bank holidays.

Grassroots dressage is on the Tuesday and Wednesday, with the 5* starting on the Thursday. Did they jiggle last year's around because of the coronation @Orangehorse?

So if we go on the Wednesday for the Grassroots cross country all the Trade Stands will be open. Asking as I have relatives from abroad coming, so I want to give them a nice day out and I daresay they are not interested in the dressage much.

The trade stands are open on the Wednesday, but the only competition you will see is the grassroots.

I walk the XC and watch some 5* dressage on the Thursday, and you can see the hoof prints on the XC left from the grassroots (near to but not on the 5* XC).

ETA Last year was weird due to the Coronation, so the 5* ran from Fri to Mon, not Thurs to Sun.

What is the traffic usually like on the Wednesday morning?

Where/when does the dressage and SJ take place for grassroots?

Sorry for boring questions, never been on a Wednesday before!

The dressage and show jumping is across the road from the main Badminton grounds. Someone may be able to give more detailed directions. You can find times on eventing scores but the dressage starts at 8am and the 100 show jumping starts at 9am and the 90 starts at 11.40am.
