badminton alternatives

I might spend all the money I saved at horsatack on absolute crap I don't want or need as usual but will still make me feel a bit happier lol!

I've booked to go to a spa hotel with my Badminton spending money and buying some riding boots from my local saddlery tomorrow. I've been saving for months and months...such a shame but fully understand why.

I have never been. The first year I decide to go and its cancelled. Am beyond gutted, car was packed and everything.

Agree right decision though.

Have looked at Burghley and it just doesnt look as good - cant camp on site for a start. :(((

JMG, I believe you can camp onsite at Burghley. Or you most certainly have been able to in the past. I haven't ever so myself as I live fairly nearby, but know people who have done in previous years...?
I love Burghley, have been every year since I was very small =)

Would be top if you could camp at Burghley - I have been on the website though and cant see an option to. The caravan section also says no horseboxes or tents?

What about blenheim? You can definatly camp on site there

Blenheim's 3* and not til Sept (and also not abroad, obv, so rapidly failing on all counts) but I personally enjoyed it even more than Badminton and while the site is smaller, it's not detrimentally so and makes it easier getting around.
