I'm organising a trip to Badminton on XC day with our university riding club...I was just wondering has anyone had/organised a 'celebrity' course walk before? How did you sort it and how did it go on the day? I've sent a few emails out but if anyone has a any suggestions/contacts I'd really appreciate it!

Lucinda Green always does one and if you time it well you can 'accidentally' walk round just behind her and her group= free course walk!!

Why don't you email any of the names who will be competeing etc... and some will do for the nomimated badders charity. Why don't you contact badders direct and see who they suggest??

It's worth a try but don't be too dissappointed if you can't organise one.
All of the course walks that I have seen in the past have been on the Thursday or Friday. The problem on XC day would be the crowds - it would be very difficult to stop at each fence and talk about it. It normally requires a fair bit of elbow power to even get to see at the lake.
Sorry to be negative but still worth a try.

Thanks for the replies!
