It's really irritating that several horses out in Kentucky are still on the list- surely they should have withdrawn by now so as not to confuse number matters and give those on the waitlist the most notice possible?!
 
I noticed that too and thought it was unfair, perhaps some are just intending to dressage and then withdraw so they can do Badminton, Surely they won't complete both.

With the costs involved and the hassle of travelling/quarentine, I think you'd have to be mad/stupid to attempt to do both events!!

Exactly - so why are they still entered????????????
 
Just spoken to a friend who is entered and going fairly early. Her comment is surprise surprise that Toytown is nearly last to go!

In fairness though, arn't all the second and thus normally "best" rides of the pros in the last 15? Wasn't Tamarillo last out on course last year, or getting very close to being last out on course.

Most of the 'names' have 2 rides, they go at the begining with the first one and at the end with the second. I may be wrong but I think they get to choose which one they ride in each slot too. Anyway, thats why they always end up last.
