I wish they would let Peter Storr actually commentate during the tests and stop behaving like jolly hockey sticks horsey types sitting round a kitchen table.

The picture quality is great, it would be lovely to have insightful commentary to match ... :)

Agree. It is very annoying when he is halfway through a sentence and then gets interrupted.
Thought it was better in the afternoon though than earlier in the morning - and at least then Rupert Bell was given a chance to introduce the horse and rider and even managed to get in some info about the breeding and competition history.

By the way, if anyone is having trouble with the 'not available in your area' screen, just keep going out and in again and refreshing page. Sometimes had to do it half a dozen times or more after they have a break but always got it back at the end.

i only listened in the late afternoon and IMO Pammy got it about right with her comments on the judges scoring. poor peter kept trying to keep her from saying too much which was controversial but i am afraid he failed. i enjoyed the bits i heard and thought the picture quality was very good... will be watching again tomorrow when i get time and hope pammy is commentating again...yes i had trouble with the not available but just rebooted and it was ok..

I had to turn it off, they were driving me effing mad with their inane chatter. Shame as I love hearing the normally insightful comments on the tests.

I've never watched dressage with commentary, so this has been really interesting. I wish my computer would screen it properly rather than stop-start all the time.

Seems to be browser dependent, if you aren't, try using Chrome, it seems to be doing much better than the alternatives (Fierfox/IE both stuttered)

I really enjoyed the commentary last year when I was able to watch at my desk  I'm sad to be missing it this year now I'm required to actually do some work!

Maybe I'm in a bad mood :D, but it's far worse than last year so you aren't missing much! It's mainly Rory Bremner's unfunny impersonations and stupid voices (primarily Trump), unrelated and extended anecdotes and cutting Pammy and Peter off mid-sentence. It's a bit like when a child says something slightly funny that gets a reaction, and then they repeat it every 5 minutes for the rest of the day...

I'm finding Pammy Hutton super annoying!

Ditto, and I really liked her a couple of years ago (which was the last time I listened). I don't think she likes Peter Storr for some reason. However, the commentary is better this afternoon than yesterday morning.

They did say they have just worked out who should do the technical bits and who should try and make it easier. I do also think it is tricky as it isn't just commentary, there are plenty of people like me who aren't watching the footage just listening to the radio.

There isn't anything that quite matches the Carl + Pammy combo it seems.

Me too. I tuned in to watch one particular test and there was very little in terms of critique or commentary. She just whittled on anout what somebody had said about her as if she was having a coffee with her pals. Not what I wanted to listen too.

Did anyone else hear her say, when talking about a horse that wasn’t happy in the contact that it ought to wear a bridle all the time, even in the stable until it’s accepted a bit? I thought that sort of thinking had gone out with the dark ages! It’s hardly a baby pony either if it’s made it there.

Same here. Ridiculous that she chose to bring up the classical FB group drama (that she caused...) when none of them have the equal opportunity to respond.

I think he's given her a few low marks and critical comments in the past when he's judged her, going by some of the remarks she's made today ... :D

Yes. This scared me as can you imagine the number of people that will now go and do this?
