Badminton show jumping thread

Michael Jung is pure class! Grand slam won for only the second time ever, and in that Burghley was won with a broken ankle. What a man!

Wow. He deserved it.

''Twas a good Badminton. The Brits did better than I expected and the Germans/Kiwis didn't totally take over the leaderboard (although I've got my money on Germany for Gold and Nz for silver in Rio).

Someone is just going to have to seduce MJ and get him to change nationality!

Well done to Michael and Sam, what a partnership, very well deserved. And fantastic result for Gemma Tattersal and Arctic Soul :) great Badders this year :)

Didn't Ben Way do brilliantly?! I didn't realise his score was that good until seeing the final leaderboard.

Hope so, although he's got some of our younger riders coming up snapping at his heals in Gemma and Emily. Poor Emily, should have been in this line up.

I wish that they'd comment on the prizes rather than playing interviews over the top. Tina didn't get mentioned. Nice to see WFP there, and Andrew.

Very bored of Harry wittering on about what he's won. It was funny for a few minutes but done to death now. I want to hear who has won today! At this point it's better without commentators so we can hear the arena commentary.

Yes, and I loved Andreas in his runner up interview with Claire Balding, he loves his horse and seemed to have a good sense of humour.

And it wasn't Sam in the prize giving doing all that spooking. He'd borrowed another horse, which explains why it had a full tail in the show jumping in and a pulled tail in the prize giving! Most people (including me) didn't notice!
