Badminton Sponsored Ride

Hi some advice please, I have always wanted to do this ride so just wanted to know how it is run, as in :-

1. does it get full that I should pre enter? as I can see on website it does say you can enter on day

2. go as a pair/group or can I go on own?

3. is there any overnite stabling/ camping available?

I never did this ride. The serious Endurance people I rode with at the time had all done it but said it was absolute mayhem. Far too many people, madly excited horses with novice riders and so on. Instead we used to do the Badminton Airfield Ride, in August-September time. Absolutely glorious, still over a lot of the Badminton land, and, as the corn had been cut, lots of long gallops over stubble. Would highly recommend that one if you have doubts about, or can't get into, the main Badminton Ride.

I agree with RF that it is mayhem!

If you're looking for an alternative Cirencester Park fun ride is beautiful.

For fun rides you won't get overnight stabling/camping but if you wanted to do fun rides without jumps you can do non competitive rides at endurance GB and you can book stabling for that.
