Lovely to see so many horses that are so full of energy. Honestly don't know how some of riders hung on!
Is it available to view online anywhere?
Sprightly!
Ros Canter was slightly cautious, understandably! My friends required her to pretty much sprint back, he loves the trot up. Emily Gilruth was fab.
Astiers horse was not so impressive, can't believe they let him through
Well he has now gone into the lead in the dressage, so presumably is feeling OK!
so was collettes i thought for a moment they weren't going to pass him. i thought he was noticeable unlevel behind on the turn as she trotted sway. they obviously felt he wasn't right withdrawing him this morning.
He fell over five mins before trot up xx
Goodness, these horses are beautiful!

Yes, the livelier a horse is in the trot up the harder it is to see any slight lameness - it's part of the game! My boss's GF used to have her top horse very wired because he was never completely sound. Could jump the side of a house though, and lived for it.They are super fit but they are also taught it.
A friend of mine used to four star a good few years back. Her horse had a slightly unconventional action and at one event he was spun on the trot up. An Olympic rider I obviously can't name told her that she needed to ignore the instruction to trot normally, and run the horse up as quickly as possible so it would be more difficult for the judges to spot.
