There is a little play button on the bottom right of the screen, sort of hidden. Have you pressed that?
The options won't even open! So, for example, I can see a gold box with today's dressage, but when I tap on it, it doesn't open. It's just dead. Same with all the boxes, including the archive.

Have now tried it on my phone and it works there but not on my very new laptop.

Perhaps if it's new (brand-new) their software isn't compatible with updated software etc., which is bad given the price they ask.

Dressage is currently on a break - next test due to start at 11:42 so should work again from then.

Badmington Website suggests downloading their app via Amazon Firestick Appstore. But it doesn't appear to be available there!

I managed to find it on the firestick Appstore, I searched in their appstore for badminton and it came straight up and then I was able to download it no problems.

From the posts on here it doesn’t seem to be that easy on laptops. I had no problem with my I phone but as it’s a mini the screen is quite small . At least it sounds like we are all on now, it really shouldn’t be that difficult , I am going to e mail them and suggest they change the way we access it, even horse and country is easier to get in although the quality of recording isn’t good.. so far the quality of the dressage is good, hope it’s the same for the c/c 🤞

splashgirl45 - If you have a smart TV then cast it from your phone? With android its super easy, just pull top of screen down twice and youll get to all the circles of buttons. Scroll along until you find "Smart view" then you can connect to your TV and watch it through it. Super easy.

To be fair I dont think the Badminton TV idea has been well done. Crazy they dont have an app at all for android. And just generally looks clunky to use especially if some people arent very IT literate! Like why hide the "play" button the livestream down on the lower right. Think its very expensive for not a great website or user friendly aspect.

So far its not too bad for me, however I'm super annoyed they wont be showing the top 10 show jumping on Monday! It's on the BBC but you'd think considering we are paying for it they would cover the whole event!

I have to actually click down hard on my mousepad on my laptop for it to work, it doesn't do anything if I just tap the mouse pad like I would normally do for everything

They are covering it, but it's a broadcasting rights issue in the UK. If you have a VPN you'll be able to keep watching on Badminton tv. I choose whichever has the better commentary 😋

I do have a smart tv but not an android phone. I’ve got iPhone and I’m not very techy but I can stream it from my laptop to the tv so as long as I can get it on the laptop I’m ok.. it just seemed so much easier on my phone and I wasn’t expecting it to be so confusing on my laptop..

What a swizz! Paid £20 for the subscription, get to the last 10 in the showjumping and suddenly get told to watch the rest on the BBC!!! By the time I'd got my tv set up I'd missed Ros Canter's first round.

Lesson for next year maybe.
Pre install iplayer on the phone/laptop, then all you'd have to do would be to switch apps, taking but seconds.Iplayer is for live TV as well as catch-ups.
Interesting to learn.there was a Firestick app.I'll maybe subscribe next year.
