Well, after a little chat with Brushingboots, I am going to ask who is going to Badminton, and wonder maybe if we ought to have a little HHO meet up? Just brief Hellos between shopping. And watching the horses of course!

So who is going, and which day? Then maybe we could organise something for each day etc. etc.

I'm going on the Sunday with some friends, but would be up for saying Hello to some HHOers! :D

Very jealous. My mum is going with 8 others so look out!! the shops will be empty in no time!!

Have fun, I will be glued to the TV on sun as having a Badminton party!! how sad is that!

I'll be there all days, just look for a fat, lazy choc lab and that'll prob be Frank. And if the people with the dog are little and large (I'm 5'4, friend just over 6') then you'll be sure it's me! ;);)
 
Me too with Rosie's Mum and a bunch of other people. Going on Friday and coming back after the XC on Sunday night and staying in a castle apparently (seems unlikely but you never know). Would love to see you all but I think is too big an area and too many people. Someone remind me what happened to the HHO badges?
I'm well excited - been to Burghley but never to Badders - but the weather forecast is pants :-(
 
So quite a few peeps going, now someone has to make a decision here!

RuntoEarth is working at the chocolate fondue (there's another post in the diary section about a meet but no place or time set yet), so I thought I might make my way over to that once the xc has finished and say hi as she will be stuck there working. And I guess I could force myself to eat something while I am there.

Anyone else think then is a good time? I am guesstimating about 4, unless someone can look up the xc times and make a more definite time.

How would we recognise each other - any ideas anyone - dress clue perhaps? Or do we just randomly walk about mumbling "I'm an HHO'er" or "Forum forum forum?" under our breaths...
 
I'll be there! Going on Sat, staying a couple of night, may only actually be at badders on the Sunday, depends on how the mood takes us (I'm just looking forward to a kid-free weekend so I'll be happy whatever we do!)

I would describe all my friends who are going but that might just confuse the issue, so if there is a designated meeting time and place I'll try and be there, otherwise if you think you recognise me then please do come over and say hello :)

Going down thurs dragging old faithful the caravan for grassroots, nipping off for a day saturday but be back for xc and sj back up north on tues - didn't fancy the bank hol traffic.

Didn't i see a pic of a HHO banner was it last year?

My first time too, Mr Digger has been before we'll have two border terri-orists.

will also mutter HHO HHO or similar? :)
