So who would you have liked to been sat on......?

For me King Eider aka Duck. He looked like it was a pony club track and just looked like he was loving it. My other choice would have been Mulry's Error :-) he is just awesome.

I liked King Eider too and on the other side of the coin Portersize Just a Jiff, even though he had a stop. He just looked so much fun! Of course Armada, Nereo and Chilli Morning made it look so easy too.

On the other hand you couldn't pay me enough to sit on Andrew Hoy's horse.

King Eider and Portersize Just a Jiff for me too please! Have loved King Eider for a few years now, as he reminds me a bit of my big grey boy and makes it all look so easy. And Portersize Just a Jiff as he looked like so much fun, and despite his size, made it look like a walk in the park!

Definitely not Andrew Hoy's horse.

I like King Eider and Jiff but my vote goes to Sarah Stretton's horse Skip On. He always looks like a fun ride.

Is king eider the big grey? He made it look like a walk in the park with a few logs in his way lol.

I'd like to ride him or euro prince - who looked like he was literally bouncing round!

Both look fun rides :)

Yes that's him. Look at us talking as if we'd all go round Badminton! Even on one of those horses I think I'd attempt 4 fences. The first, the last, the house after huntsman's close (wasn't on telly so only saw it as I walked the course on Friday but it really wasn't that big or scary) and the first log at the mound. And even then I'd be scared at how big they were. The 'let-ups' for them would still be the biggest fences I'd ever attempt.

I'd do the first and the last if given something to chill me out, the others I'd have to be heavily sedated for ;-)

Looks like I'll have to fight a few people for King Eider then! He nearly mowed down the ground jury at Sunday's trot up, was looking totally full of himself in the parade of the competitors, did a stunning SJ round and like others have said flew round XC. Fab fab horse.

Another for King Eider, looks like a complete gentleman of a horse. In fact I'd probably like to take him home, not just ride him around Badminton!

Also loved Mr Mulry, don't think I'd have a chance of holding him but he looked like he absolutely loved the job.

Another for king eider what a fab horse, in fact I would love to take him round badmington, how far id get I don't know but I would love to try the course on a talented horse like that I really would

Classic moet - half sister to my old mare & so so similar ! Would be fantastic

Secret surprise (i think!) Pippas 2nd ride, was a fantastic classic cross country round 😊

King Eider and Beltane Queen for me, 2 very lovely horses. 6,000 lessons and a large shot of adrenalin for me first though ;)

Hah yeah good point. I'll jump the first two and the last, now where's the superglue? How about the vodka?

Snap. Loved these two. Duck has such a sweet face, would love to see those huge ears looking at me over the stable door in the mornings.

Loved Mulrys Error, still had plenty left in the tank the way he was hauling hid groom back to the stables after his round. Also really liked Paul Tapner's young horse, Indian Mill but my absolute fave for a long time now has been Nereo

I liked Just a Jiff, more my size to ride!

In the past, just because he would have been the complete opposite to what I would ever have ridden (bit chicken really,) I think the most thrilling ride you could have had (and possibly the scariest) would have been Murphy Himself. I loved watching Ian ride him XC.

Oh, I have a list...

Tappers's Kilronan (I have a huge soft spot for that horse)
Jock's Clifton Promise and Clifton Lush
Sam's Paulank Brockagh
Chris Burton's TS Jamaimo
Andrew Nicholson's Nereo
Oliver Townend's Armada

..... Any of them would be amazing!

I thought of Second Supreme too, but I'm not sure how much of that was Pippa's riding. I've never seen her look so determined, not even on Supreme Rock or Primore's Pride.

If you're looking for a horse that just gets on with it despite what the jockey does I think Alexander Peternell's would fit the bill; so honest and sensible

Calico Joe is gorgeous, would love a go on him! To be fair you couldn't pay me enough to go around badminton on a pogo stick yet alone a horse! Haha. Or Clifton Lush, through the two gates was perfect. There's so many I'd like a go on actually..If any of them go missing it wasn't me! ;)
