Badminton...

Just a quickie, Im going to Badminton for the first time this year ( exciting!) for the people who have been before where is a good place to stay? I know there is a list on the website but not many have information just a telephone number.
Any feedback would be great

most places are booked up a year in advance,so l think you will just have to ring and hopefully find somewhere!

The last couple of years i have been I have just found the nearest travelodge to stay in - if you book now you should be able to get a cheap room.

There are plenty of B&Bs in Bath, which is not far away. I booked mine last night so there are still places. You need to get looking quickly though. Try Smoothhound.co.uk...

Would definitely try Travelodge - have just spent 1/2 day trying to find 2xsingle rooms in a B&B near Badminton - all booked up! Finally found somewhere that's only on a very small local website, about 10 miles away .... it would have been simpler to have gone to nearest Travelodge.

Badminton's fantastic, love it, and I'm sure you'll have a good time; enjoy!

I'm afraid you'll be extremely lucky if you find anywhere very close. We go and stay with friends in Warminster every year. Instead of it being a 2hr drive it's only 45 mins max.

we are about 20 mins from badminton and our local B&B has spaces i believe, PM me if anyone is still looking, (its above a pub so good food on site also)
