has anyone camped there before? we want to take the vw camper van and toddler! do i need to buy tickets quickly and is it ok, any tips? failing that do i need to get xc day tickets now on on the gate or do they sell out? thanks

Yep, I've taken the horsebox for the last two years. If you buy the four day camping pass you get two tickets included. You won't pay for the toddler, unless you want grandstand tickets for the SJ on Sunday. Dressage on Thurs and Fri has unreserved seating so no tickets required unless you really want to.

We had a really good laugh, people very friendly, but there are a few parties going on, so be prepared to some late night noise, although not bad, people are quite respectful. There are showers and loos, but you probably won't need if you are taking a camper van. There is also a fast food van if you fancy chips at night!!

Book early, the camping passes sold out last year. There is a little shop in Badminton Village, get bread, milk etc but inflated prices!
