Hate to ask, and I cant see anything on their website, but do we think it will be good to go. Thinking more of actually getting it ready it time, you certainly couldnt take any heavy gear across any of the land near me atm :(

I guess no news is good news?!
They would have put down all the grass mats and things to help, but it still has to be a muddy one.

It’ll be a bit wet :D

It’s too early to say at this stage I think, although I’m sure the logistics of setting it up are giving a few sleepless nights.

I think it will go ahead unless the lower parts of the course flood like they did a few years ago. It will just be muddy and wellies will certainly be required!!! The land round us is drying pretty quickly having had a few drier days and Badminton isn't that far away from where we are.

Sorry to jump on your thread Myboyche..
I'm going to Badmintonthis year for the first time, may be a stupid question but.. are you allowed to take your on food into the venue? :-)

Yes, you can take any food you like in.

Ground is drying really quickly where exposed and most of the badminton estate is exposed so should be fine.

Hoping to be there on the Thursday. Last year we parked the (reasonably sizeable @7.0m long) motorhome on one of the grass parking fields with no problems. We will be rather more cautious about taking it on this year , it gets bogged down easily.

All fingers crossed that the event goes ahead.

It's not Badminton if its not a bit muddy in my eyes! Just feels weird when you go and its sunny and warm.

Hopefully the course will be ok. But the pedestrian areas will likely get a bit swampy by XC day if it doesn't dry out sharpish.

I think it will run but be pretty rubbish going and quagmires in the tradestands and car parks again..... hoping to be proved wrong about the quagmire bit!

Plenty of time subject to weather for it to be rock hard :-)

It’s within walking distance for me and very wet!
But the long term forecast looks very promising so it might end up being perfect going

They have been posting quite a lot on their facebook page so hopefully it will all go ahead - we have been looking forward to a day out for months so I hope it does!
