Reminded why I never go on Gumtree these days.

6 puppies advertised - ‘cavapoochon’. Bitch is a ‘cavapoochon’, and dog is a cockerpoo. Needless to say every pup looks completely different, a proper mongrel litter. ‘Breeder’ claims to have bred due to the good temperament of the parents. I’m sure the whopping £1.5k they’re wanting for each pup has nothing at all to do with it.

Utterly depressing. I bet there’s no thought been given to if the dog/bitch should have puppies, like it’s going to improve the line, there’ll be no health tests ever done. People are w@nkers, frankly, I absolutely loathe people breeding for profit and what else could it be for?

A fellow livery told me she bred puppies/kittens because that’s how she ‘made her money.’ I was frankly sickened.

An acquaintance stuck all her bitches in pup during lock down. She was too late with the last three litters though and really struggled to sell them. I don’t actually know if she has yet.
I don’t object to breeding for profit. But please do your bit for the breed at the same time.
