Bailey finally starts his sarcoid treatment tomorrow. It was difficult for them to work out how to treat it without repercussions on other areas because it isn't in the best of locations.
However, the nasty little blighter finally "popped up more", vet pulled scab off and hey presto! There it was in all its awfulness. Yuck. Anyway, they are going to treat it with cream initially and see how it goes.
Fingers crossed that it goes as smoothly as it can do! Not ideal with him starting his ridden career in March so there may be a delay there depending upon what happens with how the sarcoid reacts. I just want him to get better and not get any other lumps or bumps
Wish him luck! He will be sedated each time the cream is applied as they have had horses becoming ear shy and they don't want it to happen to him.
