The vet has advised I soak Bobbi's hay again because she has a crest and fat pads. She's been tested for Cushings and is borderline (49, the cut off is 50). Also tested for EMS and her insulin is normal but her adiponectin is low, indicating too much fat.
Trouble is, soaking hay has caused fecal water, she's basically dripping sometimes when she's got wind and she has loads of streaks down her back legs. Her poos are normally soft anyway and they seem the same.
I thought about a prebiotic and liked the look of the Baileys Digest Plus, but I can't see how much I'd need to feed, so no idea how long it would last. Does anyone use it that could help please? Or have any other suggestions?
She is currently on 6kg soaked hay, a small amount of speedibeet, a couple of handfuls of Top Chop Zero, a handful of Fibre Plus Nuggets and a balancer. Added supplements for joints, plus magnesium.
Ta muchly!
