Opinions? Put Ruby on it and she loves it, but tonight was really really full of, 10 times more than usual, wondered if it could be that, or the fact shes just back in work with new shoes and gel pads and feelin good!

It used to be their Economy Mix until they renamed it, not keen tbh and could well be the cause of her behaviour.

Main ingredient is barley, so not surprising she is feeling full of herself!

Think it is very high in starch (from barley) and would send many horses skywards.

Its full of cereals, so very high in starch. Many horses would love to eat it but it doesnt make it good for them!
Nuts usually have a lower starch level so are better for the horse thn mixes. Personally i wouldnt feed a mix to any horse at rest or in light work. Fibre based feeding is much healthier and safer!
