I live in Barbados, have 2 horses and have the worse availability of feeds here. My horses have to suffer locally made pellets, or pay double the price ( which I do ) for imported Feed from Canada when it's available. Can anyone answer my question please... How come suppliers won't or can't supply feed here in Barbados?? Like Bailey's Feeds? or any others?
The Hay is disgusting too, they allow it to be cut, dried for about 2 weeks before they bale it, so when we finally get it it's almost brown and so dry, with little or no nutritional value at all.
Any suggestions on how to improve my horses feeding would be greatly appreciated,
