Baileys no.1

Yes I use it for a 27 year old retired thoroughbred. I have always struggled to keep weight on him but because this is so high in calories you don't have to feed a huge amount so not overloading his digestive system. I feed it mixed in with some Rowan Barbury extra mash and he gets a scoop of Alfa a oil in a separate tub to munch on later. Old boy is retired so not in work but doesn't seem to send him loopy. Works really well for him so I'd recommend for weight gain. Good luck.

Thank you so much for your replies! My 24 year old TB mare is already on baileys no.4 and it has kept the weight on her well (considering the winter before last she looked a cruelty case - I just couldn't keep the weight on her). She looks ok, not poor but not great so I've picked up a bag of this for her yesterday as it was highly recommended to me. She is also on dengie hi-fi chaff and speedy beet as well as no.4.

Timssister - how much do you feed your oldie of the no.1 if you don't mind me asking? :)
