For Toto, he's a very good doer so at the moment he's only getting grass, soaked hay and carrots/apples, but am a bit worried about him getting all of his vits and minerals, but we are reluctant to give him feed as he's a bit round! Was wondering about Baileys No.14 Lo-Cal Balancer? We don't want any extra calories, weight or fizz! He does get dry feet so could it help? What are your experiences? Does it give fizz?

Thanks

I've had my boy on this for a few years now & it's fantastic. He looks fab & feels great, no extra fizz! My lad has more than enough energy for a good 5 days work per week on just grass - I give him the lo-cal to make sure he's getting what he should and his temp isn't really any different.
It should help with his feet & his gut too - I really can't say enough good things about it!

not at all- it was one of the lowest starch foods i could find- my TB and my 4 year old are both on it and look fab. they have 2 cups of lo cal in each feed with a cup of outshine too. and some chop. best thing to do is ring baileys to make sure all your nutritional values are right but i definitely recommend it.....

I agree its BRILLIANT both my 18 yr old ex racer and 3 yr old Sec D are on it neither need extra calories or fizz and they both look fab! Glossy coats and their feet are the best they have ever been!

I use Lo-Cal for my 2 TB's and Welsh D x TB who is recovering from Lami, they all look really well on it and no fizz or excess weight, but really good feet, one of the TB's has always look a little off, this year she looks fab, has a lovely topline.
Really plus side for me is that it's low in starch and you don't have to feed lots, they all get two cups each at the moment, plus Hi-fi lite and soon to start on Outshine........

The lo cal has proved a revelation with my boy. He's always been difficult to feed, but since being on the lo cal he looks amazing...his hoof quality has never been better and his coat looks fantastic. He's a newfie btw

I've got both of mine on it. I have to be v careful about what goes into TBx as she's a bit of a livewire

I also had my Eriskay on Lo-Cal (only to give him something to munch on when others were being fed), and Woody had Lo-Cal and Outshine (he had laminitus, but was also a hat rack so needed some high energy, low sugar feed) and both looked Fab.
