I think it is baileys, anyone feed it? Is it really non heating? My boy is looking realy good now but as the grass is growing and sending him nuts again I have had to cut his food right down I really want to keep the condition on him.

I would put him on something like Bailey's Lo-Cal. It has got in all the nutrient he will need without being fattening or heating. It also contains a lot of oil and yea-sac which aids in digestion.
Outshine is PURE oil. One cup of it is equivalent to something like a litre of oil. It has not got in any of the nutrients that a balancer would contain as its aim is to maintain coat condition, etc. as well as aiding stamina due to the high ammounts of oil. I love this stuff but if you are looking to feed something that will help maintain your horse's condition without putting on to much, you would be better off going with Lo-Cal.

i feed low cal and its really good - but im thinking of changing to allen & page ride and relax that hasn't got any mollases, barley or alalfa in it.

I agree with the others about the Lo Cal.

My old grey horse was on it - her weight was spot on, but she needed a boost to her dull coat. She could be a bit temperamental, so most feeds were a no-no, but she looked wonderful on the Lo-Cal (her coat gleamed so much, it looked silver!), and she was as calm as a plod on it.

We need the fattening though. He looks great at the moment but I have had to cut his feed right down as the grass is coming through and he is a bit too excitable so I need something that I can feed small qtys (he often won't eat much feed) that will keep the weight on him without further exciting him. He has a good 250 mls of soya oil per day at the moment.

Yes Outshine is non heating. Feed it to my lad for energy and to keep his condition. This is a horse who goes loopy on top spec or any type of balancer. Never have a problem with outshine and just adjust the amount for 3 days prior to a comp
