Bakers dog food facts!!

That's the dry index. Chappie wet/tinned, which is what was recommended to you, is not what you'd call a premium food but it has very basic ingredients and is recommended for sensitive stomachs.

Ahh, I'm still feeding tinned but I've been adding dry as well. Oops. Thanks CC, will cut that out in the future. Is he OK to just have tins? I always feel like its lacking something when I give him just meat :o

That's conditioning/adverstising for you :p I bet he won't keel over if you stop feeding the dry.

I think I just made it up in my head you know :p I'm positive he wont keel over, so Ill cut the dry out immediately. Would you say the Chappie tins are alright for him to be on forever? They are certainly suiting his tummy.

I think if it works and isn't full of seriously scary ingredients, then keep using it. Chappie is bland, low protein, low fat, high rice content. Boiling up a chicken for the meat and adding rice would long term cost less but convenience is important if you're mad busy.

The dry has scary stuff in it.
