Balancer for older horse?

What do you feed your older horses? I have a 19 y.o on safe and sound and snaffles joint supplement plus super fast fibre cubes in a treat ball. Not sure if the S&s has all the vits and mins so just curious what others feed their oldies!
 
I feed my cushings boy Youngstock balancer at one point and he thrived on it. Fed him the stallion recommended levels.

he also got equimins advance complete and codlivine joint balancer as well before the cushings and did well on these too.
 
MY 29 year old lives out 24/7 and is generally a very good doer so he gets a token feed of grass chaff and grassnuts to carry his joint supplement, judging by his condition he gets more than enough vits and mins from the grass, the 24 year old pony is in a different field and gets nothing other than grass he also looks fab for his age.
If they drop weight or lose quality in their coat or feet they may get put on a supplement to give them a boost.
 
I had a forage analysis done a few years ago and now they all get Progressive Earth Pro-mineral, Equimins calcium phosphate and biotin as a supplement I mix myself, plus table salt. My land is high in iron and iodine so with these products I don't add any extra.
 
If you go to Saracens horsefeed website they have an online interactive tool to suggest feed. I think it is on this link but otherwise just look for the interactive tool on their website. That may give you some suggestions. http://www.microsteed.com/saracen I think the tool is quite good and it is based on research in Kentucky I think.
 
I feed my 31yr old Hi-Fi Lite and Saracen Super Fibre Cubes, then my 28yr old Hi-Fi Lite and Saracen Re-Leve.

Or you could give Saracen a call they’d happily give advice over the phone or send a nutritionist out to you their really good for advice, will happily send out free samples of recommended feeds.
 
I give my 24 going on 25 yr old pro-balance. He’s on top chop lite, pink mash, horse & pony nuts and micronised linseed. He also has salt, Buteless and magnesium.

Yesterday he was doing an impressive imitation of zebedee bucking full on around the field, mainly because he was upset as I hadn’t yet put the hay out.

Winning mature veteran in-hand at the Sunshine Tour this year.

My ridden 29 year old is fed Alfa A Original and a veteran mix (not sure of brand as the livery yard supplies it). She then gets NAF general purpose supplement as the amount of hard feed she gets is only tiny, Cortaflex joint supplement, and NAF Respirator.
 
20yo, on the same kind of stuff she's eaten all her life - Equilibra and Top Spec ulcer-kind, with boswellia for her arthritis and some yeast.
