Balancer or supplements?

I have a section c 8yr who can be quite highly strung he is becoming a lot better in his ridden work and would love to add a supplement or balancer to his morning feed he is only on happy hoof malasses free chaff
I feel he could do with something extra now he is in medium to high work
Any suggestions?
 
The Spillers range of balancers seem to be popular. I have my competition mare on the Spillers Original. Doesn't make her silly and she looks very well on it. Worth a look.
 
Thunderbrook daily essentials balancer is very good, it contains everything you could possibly need and it’s not super expensive either. It’s recommended by a lot of nutritionists x

Baileys LoCal balancer? Tiny pellets, cup of hot water and they turn into a mini-mash our Sec Ds find delightful....
actually prefer it solo, without any chop.
