Bale Size

I am considering making small bale haylage either in conventional size bales or mini round bales (size 70x70cms max) I have both balers. Has anyone tried these small bales & if so what has been your experience. I am in the process of reseeding some grassland & need to reseed with the right type of grass for the end market.Thank you for your time.

I think small bales are easier to handle, transport, and store, but often.cost more so if people have more than 1 horse and storage space they will go for bigger more cost effective bales?

They would be perfect for someone like me - a 2 horse owner. The big heavy bales of haylage are too large for me to move. So I buy the small one's, but it's not very cost effective to use them.
