Ballaghmor Class retiring

Lovely to hear this. Such an amazing 5* horse, hopefully he has a well deserved long and happy retirement!

Not an OT fan. So glad he's finally retired the horse and I really hope he can live a long and peaceful retirement. Do love a nice grey.

OT was very lucky to have such a wonderful horse who excelled at the big tracks.

I think that’s a big harsh. I wouldn’t be his biggest fan either, but 'finally retired the horse' is a bit of a stretch- the horse was campaigned very lightly in his last few seasons and he looked absolutely incredible still at Pau (his final event).

What a fabulous horse, a legend of the sport. Very glad to see him retired safe and sound, and lovely for him to have an official retirement at Burghley, and for him to stay where he is so well known and loved.

I’m very much going to miss seeing him and Oliver competing, they made a great pair. I certainly wish him a long and happy retirement!

Don’t think I ever saw him in the flesh but on screen he had personality and the X factor. Great for him that he’s having an official retirement too. I think it’s a lovely thing to do. Fingers crossed he’ll live a long happy retirement. No doubt still on some work? No idea if thy do this or not with eventers.

That’s what I thought when the article said he’d be officially retiring at Burghley this year. I hope they explain this to him because he’ll be there to compete 😀😀😀
I might actually go to Burghley this year just to see him and say goodbye.

Which is a ridiculously sentimental thing to even consider, but he is a special horse.
