Ballyshiel Cherokee (Irish sire)- any info?

Does anyone know anything at all about this stallion? Competition history, breeding, pictures etc etc?
My gelding is by him but had never heard of him until i bought my lad and wondered if anyone can enlighten me? All i know is that he is Irish and coloured!

Any info greatly appreciated.

He was on the list of "possible" sires of my coloured lad, as he throws very similar stock/marked horses. From what I have found out, he hasn't got any recorded breeding himself, but there are more and more of his offspring coming onto the market. He has done a few county shows in ireland, and been placed, but thats about all I could find out about him!

Thank you, yes, that is correct, my boys ish passport shows no recorded breeding from his sire and i have seen many a youngster by the same sire recently but it seems further info is rather hard to come by!
