Aw! Reminds me strongly of when my dad broke his ribs when I was a kid, he had a bandage like this! My mum occasionally walked him out for some fresh air and a snack while he was recovering too.

Aw, I'm so glad he's on the mend! When I watched the race and saw him pretty much motionless on the ground, I feared the worst!

Pretty much the whole racing world is so happy to see him out eating grass! He is a bit of a legend in his own lifetime!

When I cracked ribs the most painful thing was laughing and sneezing - at least poor old BK won't have that to contend with. It must be incredibly painful for them though, I would imagine lying down/rolling would be out of the equation for ages yet and even putting his head down to eat must be sore. Lovely to see him out in the sunshine enjoying some Dr Green.
