I imagin that it is past their bedtime.
Or maybe they got scared off, troll hunting takes skill, and the stalking takes time and patience, other wise they run for cover.

What about a hound to scent the troll.I could'nt find a goat as bait, so a sheep will have to do.
But using a hound that way would be cruel?
Anyone else find it slightly strange that there were all these posts about banning hunting in the hunting forum literally a few days ago, carrying on tonight.. and now all of a sudden the OP turns up? Could be bad timing I suppose. xx

If Troll Hunting is going to be taken seriously as an alternative we need some dress rules....hmmm how about a smoking jacket and glass of port? We need something noisy too, a Kazoo (how do you spell those things?) perhaps.
Yes the Master of the Poking Sticks gets a Green Velvet jacket, the Point in the Right Directioners get Purple Velvet and the participants should wear a suitably tasteful navy or grey, Velvet should only be worn with a Desktop and Satin with a Laptop. We dont expect participants to spec up their computers or decorate them but all machines should be clean and well presented.
