Ban staffordshire bull terriers? Girl attacked

Its funny how every time a person or animal is attacked involving a Staff or any Bull breed its the "Devil Dog" but when Mrs Evans' Yorkie attacks a small child its not even thought about twice because its no "devil" It really p's me off how people can tar all dogs Staffs,rots,dobermans and like with the same brush. Our staff has never gone for or even attempted to go for a human or another animal. Its the way the animal is bought up that counts. It will only learn to be how the owners tell it. Ban the irresponsible chav owners not the breed. Dis the Deed and NOT the breed.
 
So few people know how to act around dogs - good job my OH's lab is sane and sensible and not nibbly - we were on a boat in the Lake district and some kids literally came up to him and put their hands in his mouth and ears. He ignored them apart from wagging his tail! I was so shocked I couldn't speak to tell them to leave him alone. Surely people can teach their kids that dogs aren't toys, without making them so scared of dogs that they're terrified when they see one - have seen both since we got the lab!
