My pony is currently having to be bandaged 24/7 whilst he is on box rest as he keeps getting lymphangitis in his back legs. I am away over Christmas and my Dad has kindly agreed to look after him. Now whilst my Dad is excellent at mucking out, feeding etc etc he has never had to bandage and I don't really feel it is fair to ask him to do it. Does anyone know of any good alternatives I could use instead of the bandages that would be easy to put on and off. I thought of magnetic boots but he wouldn't be able to have those on 24/7.

Last item at the bottom - i use them on Archie, they are like mini duvets on his legs

Really easy to put on and take off and you cant over tighten them either (unless you are really strong!)

Thanks Tempi I really like the look of those - do you think they will be supportive enough to stop the lymphangitis though?

I think they are generally £35-40 a pair, or you can get Magnetic ones for a bit more.
I bought a set originally for my mare who was on box rest, but now they're used on everything and I want more pairs!
Search for Veredus on ebay and you'll find a lady who trades under the name 'whiterose equestrian' who does alot of veredus stuff, her prices are good and she's lovely do deal with.
