Banner update

Had the vets out today, Ban's heart is fine but he is breathing a tad heavier than he should be, vet watched him being lunged and no problems after but obv breating still heavier than norm.

Bloods have been taken and I will be getting the results tomorrow but vet said it could be one of a few things;

* Virus
* Chill
*RAO
* Swelling in the trachea

I am very concerned (even though she said there is nothing major to caue her to worry) still as it was about this time last year when he had his viral infection and had to be scoped.

IF the bloods do not show anything he is on light hacking for 7 days then if when he does more strenious work he deteriorates, or doesnt improve in 7 days he will have to be scoped again and have further investigations

Poor Banner, I hope he's better soon. Do you think the change in the weather could have anything to do with it? (Very dry to damp) Seems to have brought snuffles out in the school kids, daughter has one.

Hope blood test shows something like fighting a virus. Roo is still not himself but is getting brighter every day, had the blacksmith today and stood very still untill the last shoe and then got a bit restless. Dont think the weather helps does it, it was like summer here yesterday and then tonight we are expecting a ground frost. He is out but has a medium rug on.
Keep us up to date about Banner and dont worry too much Im sure he will be fine. Big Hugs
